bgp43 keeps the public site lightweight. The dashboard stores only the data needed to verify ASN ownership, operate tunnels and protect a free best-effort service.

Cookies

  • Essential session and CSRF cookies are used for login, language selection and form protection.
  • The public site does not require marketing cookies to explain the service.
  • The 88x31 footer badge is an image-only visitor counter and does not add JavaScript or cookies.
  • If analytics are added later, they should be documented here before use.

Privacy

  • The dashboard stores account email, preferred language, ASN requests, verification status and operational network objects.
  • Tunnel endpoints, BGP session data and traffic counters may be processed for provisioning, troubleshooting and fair-usage monitoring.
  • Data can be reviewed or removed when it is no longer needed for account, security, abuse or operational reasons.

Best-effort service data

  • Because bgp43 is non-commercial and has no SLA, operational logs may be used to protect capacity and respond to abuse.
  • Service messages may be sent about verification, tunnel state, BGP sessions, policy changes or outages.
